The Route nationale 150 , or N 150 or RN 150 for short , is a French national road .

history

The national road was established in 1824 between Lusignan and Saint-Julien-de-l'Escap over a length of 73.5 kilometers. It goes back to route 170 impériale. In 1930, the route was extended with the 33 km route between Saintes and Royan , which was connected  to the first section by national roads 138 and  139 .

During the 1972 reform, the first section was phased out and the routes from Niort to Saintes were taken over from national road 138 . In 2006 this section was then downgraded. Between Saintes and Saujon , the road was upgraded to an expressway and the old route was downgraded.

The total length in 1973 was 106.5 kilometers. Today the national road is only 34 kilometers long. It is part of the Center-Europe-Atlantique route.
