The Route nationale 359 , or N 359 or RN 359 for short , was a French national road .

The road ran from 1933 to 1973 from Le Cateau-Cambrésis to the Belgian border at Jeumont . For a short stretch it was interrupted by National Road 2 . The total length was 52 kilometers. The national road 49 took over the eastern part in 1973 and was then moved over time to a local expressway .
