Saint-Marcel church

Hautmont ( Dutch : Hogeberg ) is a French municipality and industrial town with 14,574 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) on the Sambre in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France , southwest of Maubeuge km (km 6), about 10 km south of Border with Belgium . The city suffered badly from the decline of the steel industry in the region.
