Taisnières-sur-Hon is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Aulnoye-Aymeries (until 2015 canton Bavay ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . The residents call themselves Taisniérois or Taisniéroises.

geography

It borders in the northeast with Belgium , in the southeast with La Longueville , in the southwest with Bavay and Houdain-lez-Bavay and in the northwest with Hon-Hergies . The municipality is crossed by the Hogneau River.
