Louvignies-Quesnoy is a municipality with 933 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe (until 2015 canton of Le Quesnoy-Est ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It borders on Ghissignies to the west , Le Quesnoy to the north, Potelle and Jolimetz (point of contact) to the northeast, Locquignol to the east, Raucourt-au-Bois to the southeast, Englefontaine to the south and Poix-du-Nord to the southwest and Salesches .

The former Route nationale 45 leads via Louvignies-Quesnoy.

The Latin name for Quesnoy is "Quercus".
