Potelle is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe (until 2015 canton of Le Quesnoy-Est ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It is bordered by Villereau to the north and northeast , Jolimetz to the east, Locquignol (point of contact) to the southeast, Louvignies-Quesnoy to the southwest and Le Quesnoy to the west . The former Route nationale 351 leads via Potelle.
