Beugnies is a commune in northern France . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Avesnes-sur-Helpe arrondissement , the Fourmies canton (until 2015: Avesnes-sur-Helpe-Nord canton ) and the Cœur de l'Avesnois (formerly Vallées de la Solre, de la Thure et de l'Helpe ). It borders in the north-west on Dourlers (point of contact) and Floursies , in the north on Wattignies-la-Victoire , in the north-east on Dimont , in the east on Sars-Poteries , in the south-east on Felleries , in the south on Flaumont-Waudrechies , in the south-west on Bas- Lieu and to the west at Semousies . The residents call themselves Beugnisiens or Beugnisiennes.
The former route nationale 362 leads via Beugnies.
