Aulnoye-Aymeries is a French municipality with 8811 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France .
- 1953 : The municipality of Aulnoye-Aymeries was created by merging the localities “Aulnoye” and “Aymeries” (originally “Aimeries-sur-Sambre”). The merger was officially confirmed on March 28, 1953.

Aulnoye-Aymeries is located south of the Bassin de la Sambre , whose main town, Maubeuge , is 18 km northeast of the municipality. The municipality is part of the Avesnois Regional Nature Park .
The municipality is a railway junction where long-distance connections from London via Calais, Basel to Milan and from Paris via Cologne, Berlin to Warsaw cross. Since the TGV started operating, the importance of these railway lines has decreased significantly. However, there are still direct connections to Paris .
