Preux-au-Bois is a French commune in the region of Hauts-de-France , in Nord , in the Arrondissement Avesnes-sur-Helpe and Canton Avesnes-sur-Helpe (2015 Canton Landrecies ). It is bordered by Poix-du-Nord to the northwest , Hecq to the north, Locquignol to the east and Robersart to the south and west . The residents call themselves Preutains, Preutins or Pétrosiens.
