Ghissignies is a municipality with 520 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe (until 2015 canton of Le Quesnoy-Est ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . The neighboring municipalities are Beaudignies in the north-west, Le Quesnoy in the north-east, Louvignies-Quesnoy in the south-east and Salesches in the south-west.
