Saint-Remy-du-Nord is located about 30 kilometers east-southeast of Valenciennes on the Sambre . Saint-Remy-du-Nord is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Hautmont in the north, Limont-Fontaine in the east and south-east, Bachant in the south and south-west, Pont-sur-Sambre in the west and Boussières-sur-Sambre in the west and north-west.
