Nevzat Tarhan

Nevzat Tarhan , (born July 7, 1952 in Merzifon , Amasya ) is a Turkish neuropsychologist and university professor. He is the founding rector of Üsküdar University . In 1998 he took over the representation of the Memory Center of America in Turkey. He is also chairman of the board of the first neuropsychiatric hospital in Turkey.

Life

He was born in Merzifon, Amasya in 1952. He is married and has two children.

In 1969 he graduated from the "Kuleli Military College". In 1975 he graduated from the Cerrahpaşa Faculty. After Nevzat Tarhan completed an internship at GATA and served in Cyprus and Bursa, he became a psychiatry expert at GATA in 1982. After his medical career in Erzincan and Çorlu, he became an assistant doctor (1988) and lecturer (1990) at GATA Haydarpaşa . He was also the director of the Haydarpaşa Clinic.

From 1996 to 1999 he worked as a lecturer in the “ Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi ” and also as an expert in the forensic institution. He resigned at his own request. In 1998 he took over the management of the Memory Center of America Turkey.

Nevzat Tarhan is currently President of NPISTANBUL Clinic and Senior Rector of Üsküdar University.
