Wignehies is a French commune with 2,903 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe and the canton of Fourmies .
geography
Wignehies lies on the Helpe Mineure River . Wignehies is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Féron in the north, Fourmies in the east, Clairfontaine in the south and Rocquigny in the west.
The former route nationale 364 runs through the municipality .
