Ramousies is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Fourmies (until 2015: canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe-Nord ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It borders Felleries in the north, Liessies in the east, Sains-du-Nord in the south and Sémeries in the west . The residents call themselves Ramousiens and Ramousiennes.
