Rainsars is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Fourmies (until 2015: canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe-Sud ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It is bordered by Sains-du-Nord to the north and northeast , Féron to the southeast and south, Étrœungt to the southwest and Sémeries to the northwest . The residents call themselves Rainsarsois or Rainsarsoises.
