Larouillies is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe (until 2015 canton Avesnes-sur-Helpe-Sud ) in the Arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It is bordered by Étrœungt to the north and east , La Flamengrie to the south and Floyon to the west . The inhabitants call themselves Larouillois or Larouilloises.
Larouillies is passed by Route nationale 2 , which connects Paris with Brussels .
