Villers-Sire-Nicole is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Maubeuge ( canton Maubeuge-Nord until 2015 ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . In the north it borders Belgium with Quévy and Estinnes . The neighboring communities on French territory are Vieux-Reng in the east and south-east, Bersillies in the south-west and Bettignies in the west. The residents call themselves Villersois.

1896–1951 Villers-Sire-Nicole was connected to the railway network of the Compagnie du Chemin de fer de Maubeuge à Villers-Sire-Nicole .
