Monceau-Saint-Waast is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Aulnoye-Aymeries (until 2015 canton of Berlaimont ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It borders Aulnoye-Aymeries in the north, Saint-Remy-Chaussée in the east, Saint-Hilaire-sur-Helpe (point of contact) in the southeast, Dompierre-sur-Helpe in the south and Leval in the west .

The former Route nationale 351 and today's D651 departmental road leads via Monceau-Saint-Waast. Monceau-Saint-Waast has a station on the railway line from Aulnoye-Aymeries to Charleville-Mézières .
