It belongs to the canton of Avesnes-sur-Helpe (until 2015 Canton Landrecies ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . It borders in the north-west on Solesmes , in the north on Vendegies-au-Bois , in the north-east on Croix-Caluyau , in the east on Fontaine-au-Bois (point of contact) and Ors , in the south-east on Pommereuil , in the south on Le Cateau-Cambrésis , in the southwest on Montay and in the west on Neuvilly . The settlement area is at 132 meters above sea level.
