Hon-Hergies is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton Aulnoye-Aymeries (until 2015: canton Bavay ) in the arrondissement of Avesnes-sur-Helpe . The residents call themselves Hon-Hergeois or Hon-Hergeoises.

It borders in the north on Belgium with Erquennes and Blaugies , in the east and in the south-east on Taisnières-sur-Hon and in the south-west and in the west on Houdain-lez-Bavay . The municipality is crossed by the Hogneau River.
