The Hogneau is a river in France , in the Hauts-de-France region ( Nord department ) and in Belgium , in the Wallonia region ( Hainaut Province ).

It rises in the southwestern area of the French municipality of La Longueville , in the Avesnois Regional Nature Park and generally drains towards the northwest. At Gussignies it reaches Belgian territory, where it is given the name Grande Honnelle .
