Honnelles is a municipality in the province of Hainaut in the Walloon part of Belgium , located directly on the French border .

It consists of the villages of Angre, Angreau, Athis, Autreppe, Erquennes, Fayt-le-Franc, Marchipont, Montignies-sur-Roc, Onnezies and Roisin .

Honnelles is located 18 km southwest of Mons , 16 km east of the French city of Valenciennes , 50 km west of Charleroi and 72 km south-west of Brussels (all data measured as the crow flies to the respective city centers). The municipality is crossed by the Hogneau river, which is called Grande Honnelle here .
