Merbes-le-Château is a municipality in the province of Hainaut in the Walloon part of Belgium . It consists of the localities of Merbes-le-Château, Fontaine-Valmont, Labuissière and Merbes-Sainte-Marie . The municipality is crossed by the Sambre river and the Hante tributary flows into Labussière .
