Chièvres is a Belgian municipality in the province of Hainaut . It consists of the localities Chièvres, Grosage, Huissignies, Ladeuze, Tongre-Saint-Martin and Tongre-Notre-Dame .

Attractions

The Saint-Martin church is a Gothic church building from the 14th century. In the district of Tongre-Notre-Dame is the pilgrimage church of the Basilica of Our Lady of Tongre .

The Chièvres military airfield is located on the eastern edge of the town .
