Celles is a Belgian municipality in the Wallonia region with 5666 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It is located on the eastern bank of the Scheldt and consists of the main town, Escanaffles , Molenbaix , Popuelles , Pottes and Velaines .

Tournai is 12 km southwest, Kortrijk 18 km northwest and Brussels about 65 km northeast.

The next motorway exits are at Tournai on the A 16 / E 42 and Estaimpuis on the A 17 .
