Estinnes is a municipality in the province of Hainaut in the Walloon part of Belgium . The municipality consists of the localities of Estinnes-au-Mont, Estinnes-au-Val, Croix-lez-Rouveroy, Fauroeulx, Haulchin, Peissant, Rouveroy, and Vellereille-le-Sec .

The Synod of Estinnes met in Estinnes on March 1st, 743 . The venue was the Carolingian Palatinate villa listinas . In the district of Vellereille-le-Brayeux stands the former Bonne-Espérance abbey .

In Estinnes there is a wind farm with 11 of the world's largest wind turbines of the Enercon E-126 type .
