Preux-au-Sart borders in the north on Wargnies-le-Petit , in the northeast on La Flamengrie (point of contact), in the east on Saint-Waast , Bermeries and Amfroipret , in the south on Gommegnies and in the west on Frasnoy . The Aunelle River runs along the western boundary of the municipality .
