Limont-Fontaine is a municipality with 563 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the north of France . It belongs to the region of Hauts-de-France , the Nord , for Arrondissement Avesnes-sur-Helpe and Canton Avesnes-sur-Helpe (2015: Canton Hautmont ). The inhabitants are called Limontifontains .
geography
Limont-Fontaine is about 33 kilometers east-southeast of Valenciennes . Limont-Fontaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Hautmont in the north, Beaufort in the east, Éclaibes in the east and south-east, Saint-Aubin in the south, Écuélin in the south-west, Bachant in the west and Saint-Remy-du-Nord in the north-west.
