Louvroil is on the Sambre River . Louvroil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maubeuge in the north, Rousies in the northeast, Ferrière-la-Grand in the east, Beaufort in the south, Hautmont in the southwest and west and Neuf-Mesnil in the northwest.
