The Helpe Mineure is a river in France that runs in the Hauts-de-France region . It is created in the municipality of Ohain by the confluence of two source streams. The river generally drains north-west and flows into the Sambre as a right tributary 50 kilometers north-west of Maroilles . On its way, it crosses the Nord department and also passes the Aisne department for a short distance .
