reachability

Langas Lake is a dammed section of the Luleälven River . Saltoluokta is located on the southern bank and can only be reached by boat from the north in summer. During this time there is a daily boat transfer from Kebnats - this is a small hamlet on the opposite bank. In the winter season, an ice road is marked that should not be left. Due to the nature of the river's bottom, the ice in this area is often very unstable and thin.
