Kashon

Kaschon (Italian Casone ) is a hamlet in South Tyrol , which lies between St. Valentin on the Haide and the Reschensee in the municipality of Graun in Vinschgau . Kaschon is located in the Vinschger Oberland , the highest section of the Adige Valley . The place stretches for about 600 meters, consists of Außenkaschon, Mitterkaschon and Innerkaschon and is primarily characterized by old farmhouses with barns. In Innerkaschon there is a chapel and an old water mill .

The hamlet is located at 1550 meters and is a good vantage point on St. Valentin on the Haide and Graun as well as the Haidersee and Reschensee .
