The Route nationale 368 , or N 368 or RN 368 for short , was a French national road .

The national road was established in 1933 when the network was densified in the course between the N36 north of Chaumes-en-Brie and La Ferté-sous-Jouarre .

In 1973 the road was downgraded from the status of a national road to a departmental road and was given the road number D402, which was also used for the section of the stepped national road N369 located in the same department .

In 1978 the road number was used again for the section between Bricard and Les Pennes-Mirabeau of the national road N568 . In 2006 this route was graded.
