Les Sorinières ( Breton : Kersoren ) is a French municipality with 8541 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Les Sorinières belongs to the Arrondissement of Nantes and the Canton of Vertou . The inhabitants are called Sorinièrois .
geography
Les Sorinières is about ten kilometers south of Nantes . Les Sorinières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rezé in the north, Vertou in the east, Le Bignon in the south and Pont-Saint-Martin in the west.
The A83 autoroute from Nantes to Niort runs through the municipality .
