Le Pellerin ( Breton : Pentelloù ) is a French municipality with 5100 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nantes and the association of municipalities Nantes Métropole . Le Pellerin belongs to the canton of Saint-Brevin-les-Pins . The inhabitants are called Pellerinais .
geography
Le Pellerin is located in the historic Pays de Retz on the Loire , into which the Acheneau flows. Le Pellerin is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Couëron in the north and northeast, Saint-Jean-de-Boiseau in the east, Brains in the southeast, Cheix-en-Retz in the south and southwest, Luanay , Vue and Frossay in the west and Saint-Étienne-de -Montluc in the northwest.
Le Pellerin is part of the Gros Plant du Pays Nantais and Muscadet vineyards .
