Maisdon-sur-Sevre ( Breton : Maezon-ar-Gwini ; Gallo : Maédon ) is a French municipality with 2942 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Clisson (until 2015: canton of Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine ). The inhabitants are called corn donnais .

Maisdon-sur-Sèvre is about 20 kilometers southeast of Nantes . The municipality borders the Maine in the west and the Sèvre Nantaise in the north . Neighboring municipalities of Maisdon-sur-Sèvre are La Haie-Fouassière in the north, Le Pallet in the northeast, Monnières in the east and northeast, Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson in the south and southeast, Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine in the south and southwest, Château- Thébaud in the west and Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine in the north-west.
