Corcoué-sur-Logne ( Breton : Kerc'haoueg , Gallo : Corcoaé ) is a French municipality with 2927 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and is part of the canton of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu (until 2015: canton of Legé ). The inhabitants are called Corcouéen (ne) s .
geography
Corcoué-sur-Logne is located about 28 kilometers south of Nantes on the Logne River . Corcoué-sur-Logne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Limouzinière in the north and north-west, Saint-Colomban in the north and north-east, Saint-Philbert-de-Bouaine in the east and north-east, Rocheservière in the south-east, Legé in the south, Touvois in the south-west and Saint -Étienne-de-Mer-Morte to the west.
The Muscadet and Muscadet-Côtes de Grandlieu wine-growing regions extend into the municipality.
The former route nationale 178 (today's D178) runs through the municipality .
history
In 1971, the municipality was created from the merger of the municipalities of Saint-Étienne-de-Corcoué , Saint-Jean-de-Corcoué and La Bénate .
