Château-Thébaud ( Breton : Castello-Tepaod ) is a French municipality with 3026 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Vertou (until 2015: canton of Vertou-Vignoble ) and the Arrondissement of Nantes . The inhabitants are called Castelthébaldais .

geography

The wine-growing community is located on the Maine about twenty kilometers southeast of Nantes . Château-Thébaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vertou in the north and northwest, Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine in the north and northeast, Maisdon-sur-Sèvre in the east and southeast, Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine in the south, Montbert in the southwest and Le Bignon in the west and southwest.
