Boussay ( Breton Beuzid-Klison ; Gallo : Bóczaè ) is a French municipality with 2621 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Clisson . The inhabitants are called Boussirons .

geography

Boussay is located about 33 kilometers southeast of Nantes on the Sèvre Nantaise river on the border with the Maine-et-Loire department . Boussay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gétigné in the north and north-west, Montigné-sur-Moine in the north and north-east, Sèvremoine in the east, La Bruffière in the south and Cugand in the west.
