La Chapelle-Heulin is about 22 kilometers east of Nantes . La Chapelle-Heulin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Loroux-Bottereau in the north, Le Landreau in the north and northeast, Vallet in the east, Le Pallet in the south, La Haie-Fouassière in the southwest and Haute-Goulaine in the west. La Chapelle-Heulin belongs to the Sèvre-et-Maine wine region and is known for Muscadet and Gros-Plant wines. The national route 249 runs through the municipality .
