Le Landreau ( Breton : Lannerell ; Gallo : Le Landraud ) is a French municipality with 2995 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . Le Landreau is part of the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Vallet (until 2015: canton of Le Loroux-Bottereau ). The inhabitants are called Landréens .

geography

Le Landreau is located in the historic Goulaine countryside . Le Landreau is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Loroux-Bottereau in the north and west, La Remaudière in the northeast, Vallet in the south and southeast and La Chapelle-Heulin in the southwest.

The Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing region extends into the municipality.
