Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson ( Breton Sant Leven Klison ) is a French municipality with 2103 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Clisson . The inhabitants are called Luminais .
geography
Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson is about 22 kilometers southeast of Nantes . The Maine limits the parish to the west. Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Monnières in the north, Gorges in the north-east, Saint-Hilaire-de-Clisson in the east and south-east, Remouillé in the south and south-west, Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine in the west and south-west and Maisdon- sur-Sèvre to the west and north-west.
The community belongs to the Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing region . Mainly the Muscadet is produced here.
