It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nantes and the Canton of Vallet . The inhabitants are called Lorousains .
geography
Le Loroux-Bottereau is located south of the Loire in the vineyards of the Vignoble nantais . Le Loroux-Bottereau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Divatte-sur-Loire in the north, Orée d'Anjou and La Remaudière in the east, Le Landreau in the south and south-east, La Chapelle-Heulin in the south, Haute-Goulaine in the west and south-west and Saint -Julien-de-Concelles to the west and north-west.
The Muscadet and Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing regions also extend into the municipality.
