La Limouzinière ( Breton : Kerlouevig ; Gallo : La Limózinèrr ) is a French municipality with 2414 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu . The inhabitants are called Limouzin (e) s .
location
La Limouzinière is about 25 kilometers south of Nantes . La Limouzinière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu in the north, Saint-Colomban in the east and north-east, Corcoué-sur-Logne in the south, Saint-Étienne-de-Mer-Morte in the southwest and La Marne in the West.
The municipality is located in the Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing region , where the Muscadet , especially the Muscadet-Côtes de Grandlieu , is produced.
