Vieillevigne is a commune with 3,959 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loire-Atlantique in the Region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Nantes and the canton of Clisson (until 2015: canton of Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine ). The inhabitants are called Vieillevigne .
geography
Vieillevigne is about thirty kilometers south of Nantes . The Issoire River limits the municipality to the west. Vieillevigne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Planche in the north, Remouillé in the north and north-east, Montaigu-Vendée in the east and north-east, Montréverd in the south and south-west, Rocheservière in the west and south-west and Saint-Philbert-de-Bouaine in the west and north-west.
The A83 autoroute runs through the municipality .
