Rocheservière is a commune with 3,322 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and the canton of Rocheservière ; from 2015 the canton was dissolved and merged into the canton of Aizenay . The inhabitants are called Cervièrois .
geography
Rocheservière is located about 26 kilometers north-northwest of La Roche-sur-Yon and 13 kilometers west of Montaigu-Vendée . The Boulogne river crosses the municipality. The community belongs to the Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing region . This is where the Muscadet is produced. Rocheservière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Philbert-de-Bouaine in the north, Vieillevigne in the east and northeast, Montréverd in the southeast, Les Lucs-sur-Boulogne in the south, Legé in the southwest and Corcoué-sur-Logne in the west and northwest.
The former national route 137bis and 753 run through the municipality .
