Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie is a French commune in the department of Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Roche-sur-Yon and is part of the canton of Montaigu (until 2015: canton of Saint-Fulgent ). The 1,832 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Gouledoisiens .

Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie is located about 51 kilometers south-southeast of Nantes and about 25 kilometers northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chavagnes-en-Paillers in the north and north-west, Saint-Fulgent in the north and north-east, Vendrennes in the east, Sainte-Florence in the south and south-east, Les Essarts in the south-west, Chauché in the west and La Rabatelière in the north-west.
