geography
Saint-Germain-de-Prinçay is located about 35 kilometers east-northeast of La Roche-sur-Yon . The municipality is bounded in the northwest by the Petit Lay river . Saint-Germain-de-Prinçay is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mouchamps in the north, Saint-Prouant in the east and northeast, Sigournais in the east and southeast, Chantonnay in the south and Sainte-Cécile and Saint-Vincent-Sterlanges in the west and northwest.
