The Petit Lay is a river in France that runs in the Vendée department , in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Les Herbiers , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows after 58 kilometers at L'Assemblée des Deux Lay into the Grand Lay , which from here on is only referred to by the name Lay .
