Landeronde is a French municipality with 2279 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Vendée in the region of Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Les Sables d'Olonne and the canton of La Roche-sur-Yon-1 (until 2015: canton of La Mothe-Achard ). The inhabitants are called Landeronnais .
geography
Landeronde is about eleven kilometers west-southwest of La Roche-sur-Yon and about 24 kilometers northeast of Les Sables-d'Olonne . Landeronde is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Venansault in the north and east, Les Clouzeaux in the south-east, Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups in the south, Saint-Georges-de-Pointindoux in the west and south-west and Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche in the north-west.
